Welcome to The Ark Charity Website
The Ark, believed to be the first accommodation project of its kind in the country, was originally started as an experiment in Milton Keynes by Ann and Mike Falcus at their home in Bletchley.
Originally, it was planned to relocate to a farmhouse in Little Woolstone but a decision was made to move to a large Victorian house in Wolverton which Milton Keynes Borough Council offered to rent to the organisation. The property became the first step in accommodating homeless young people in a “family style” environment and this remains as the principal accommodation unit of the charity, known as Ark House.

Ark House has been used since 1976, offering 24hr a day, 7 day a week supportive accommodation to homeless and vulnerable young people.
Since opening, over 500 young people have been cared for by The Ark Charity. |
