We are fortunate to live in a very generous community and we have a number of regular supporters.

Thank you centre:mk staff!

We recently received a fantastic donation of £8,000 from the centre:mk staff which they raised by taking part in the Ramshackle Rally 2010 to Valencia.

In a recreation of the film, The Italian Job, red, white and blue minis will set off from the centre:mk on a 1,400-mile trip to Spain. Six Buckinghamshire drivers competed in the race which included other cars sporting various themes.

The donation is a huge boost to our funds and we are extremely grateful to all those who took part in the race for their efforts.

Centre:mk staff also renovated our shower-room and toilet at Ark House and we now have a lovely modern, "fully-functioning" shower which our young residents really appreciate! Thanks to all the staff who worked on this project for all their hard work.

John Lewis, Central Milton Keynes

John Lewis has been a great support to The Ark in recent times, providing us with furniture for our living room and donations of really useful kitchen items. John Lewis also donated some beautiful Christmas presents for young residents and they were thrilled to receive them.

A big thank you to all at St Mary's who give us regular donations of food, we have 7 hungry young people to feed and we are all so grateful for this regular donation.

Each year we receive a generous donation from Lesley Arkin without fail, for which we send a big thank you!

It is really wonderful to receive donations to help us continue our work and every penny goes to enrich the lives of the young people who live at The Ark, of which there have been many hundreds since we opened our doors in 1976. Many ex-residents return to invite us back into their lives and share their progress with us and this progress is in part due to the generosity of our supporters.
